CAT GROOMING
IMPORTANT: All cats must be in a carrier for their grooming appointment, preferably with the top open feature. If you do not have one, please let us know ahead of your appointment and one can be provided for you (just be sure the cat is easily accessible to avoid stress and delays).
Cats that are matted will be quoted an additional mat/pelt removal fee during check-in based on the estimated time required to safely remove them. Severe matting may require a lion cut for the cats comfort. Cats with certain medical conditions may be referred to a vet for a sedated groom or monitoring for your cats safety. If a cat is showing serious signs of stress such as panting or frequent urination or is deemed too difficult to handle safely they will be returned to the owner promptly and notified of the situation and given suggestions for possible alternatives. Your pet’s safety is our number one priority. We will always choose what’s in the best interest of your pet’s health and safety over finishing their groom or achieving a specific style of haircut.

This application is useful for cat owners with thin skin that can be easily damaged, as a deterrent to damaging furniture, or as prevention for cats who scratch themselves excessively. *Soft Paws must be removed or replaced within 6-8 weeks to avoid interfering with the nails natural growth cycle.
Front paws - $20 | Full Set - $30
MAT/PELT REMOVAL
Removing mats or pelts requires carefully shaving below the mat close to the skin. Severe matting can cause skin to be irritated and scarred. Depending on the extent of matting, your cat may be completely shaved or some variation of a lion cut. Once the matting or pelt has been removed, kitty will receive a thorough de-greasing shampoo followed by a soothing medicated shampoo. Matting fees will be discussed at your appointment once the cat has been assessed.
FLEA TREATMENT
We operate a flea-free facility and recommend you keep your cat on a flea & tick preventative as recommended by your veterinarian. If your pet is found to have fleas, ticks, or parasites when they arrive at our salon, your appointment will be canceled and a cancellation fee charged. If live fleas are discovered after the bath or grooming process has already begun, a soothing bath will be given and an additional $20 fee will be charged as we must perform additional cleaning of our facilities and equipment to ensure safety for other appointments.
SPICY TUNA
In order to groom stressed and defensive cats we must pair our experience and education along with a variety of techniques and tools. If your kitty requires more specialized handling than usual, you may be charged a spicy tuna fee.
